RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee therefor,
and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services
necessary for or reasonably incidental to the installation of electrical work for six
Recreational Shelter Buildings for Homecroft Playground at Sheridan and Edgcumbe Road;
Groveland Playground at St. Clair and Prior Avenue; Oxford Playground at Rondo and
Oxford Street; East View Playground at 5th and Kennard Street; Prosperity Playground at
Kennard and Ivy Avenue and Griggs & Hubbard Playground at Griggs & Hubbard Avenue, St.
Paul, Minnesota, to ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS, INC. in accordance with City plans and
specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6503 of said Electrical
Contractors, Inc. for the contract price of $7,528.00, such bid being the lowest and
said Electrical Contractors, Inc. being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract
therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract
on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
