RESOLUTION
CfTY q'F SA1NT PAUL, MfNNESOTA ��--
Presented by
1 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Foundation was formed in 2005 to help the police deparhnent in many
2 ways including insuring that public safety for our citizens remains the number one priority for our city; and
4 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Foundation board of directors has approved the granting of $132,850 to
5 the Saint Paul Police Department, and;

7 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Department would like to accept the donation; and
9 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Deparhnent will use $95,000 for the gang unit; $700 for T-shirts for the
10 Walk With Cops program; $13,500 for the purchase of ballistic transformers, $5,000 for the purchase of
11 night vision goggles, $900 far the purchase of tint meters and $17,750 for stop sticks; and

13 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts this generous donation, extends its
14 sincere thanks to the Saint Paul Police Foundation.
