t RESOLUTION APPROVING THE USE OF NEIGHBORHOOD
z STAR YEAR-ROUND LOAN PROGRAM FUNDS IN WARD 7
a WHEREAS, on July � 5, 2009 the Neighborhood STAR Board reviewed the proposal for new
5 water service for the Children's Garden located at Third and Maria Streets; and,

� WHEREAS, the proposal provides for capital improvements that will make for considerable improvements
8 to the Dayton's Bluff area of the city; and,

10 WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Saint Paul City Council to participate in the financing of these activities
t 1 by providing a total of $5,000 in grant dollars from the Neighborhood STAR Year-Round Loan Program
t2 allocation; and,

I4 WHEREAS, because this proposal is of substantial community significance, a waiver of the STAR
i5 Guideline regarding the required 25% cap of total STAR grant dollars allowed for each Neighborhood
�6 STAR Year-Round Loan Program project is recommended and,

i s RESOLVED, that upon recommendation of the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the City Charter, the
19 City Council does hereby amend the current budget for the Neighborhood STAR Year-Round Loan
