HOLLAND, Commissioner ARTHUR F. COLEMAN, Deputy Commissioner July 18, 1957 City Council City of St. Paul Gentlemen: We have an application from a Mrs. Mary Rieger re- questing permission to construct a six foot tight board fence at 263 Front Avenue. This is in a commercial zone and they had a six foot fence around the property but it has become deteriorated and it is necessary for them to rebuild it. Due to the fact that this is a store building and the fence is on the back yard separating this commer- cial lot from the site of residence property, we are recommending that this six foot tight board fence be allowed if it is properly constructed and painted to conform with the neighboring residential property.
