ON THE AWARD OF DAMAGES RESOLUTION OF COUNCIL APPROV-
ING ASSESSMENT AND FIXING

FIXING TIME OF HEARING ON THE
AWARD OF DAMAGES
In the matter of partially_.-opealag,.-_WisigriiAg arld extending Shepard Road by condemning
and taking an easement for highway purposes on and across the following described
tract of land, all in the City of St. Paul, County of Ramsey, and State of Minnesota,
to wit: All that part of Lot 14, Partition Plat, bounded by the following described
lines: Commencing at a point on the northwesterly line of Shepard Road (formerly
Upper Levee), which is the southeasterly corner of the said Lot 14; thence southwesterly
on the said northwesterly line, a distance of 35 feet to a point; thence in a north-
easterly direction on a straight line to a point on the easterly line of the said
Lot 14, that is 9 feet northerly of the point of beginning, as measured on the afore-
said easterly line; thence southerly on the said easterly line to the point of beginning,
under Preliminary Order 182406 , approved April 181 1957
Intermediary Order 183056 , approved May 28, 1957
Final Order X83453 , approved June 25, 1957
The Commissioner of Finance having submitted his report in the above matter as to the amount of
damages awarded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above improvement
and to whom payable; and also having submitted his assessment of benefits to property from the making
of said improvement, therefore be it
Resolved, That the said assessment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved further, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a confirma-
tion of the awards of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said assessment of
benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Court House in the City of St. Paul on the 21St day
of August , 19____ 7_, at ten o'clock A. M., and that the Commissioner of Finance
be and he is hereby directed to give notice of said hearing as prescribed by the Charter.
