concurs in the recommendation of the

RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the recommendation of the Purchasing
Committee in awarding contracts for furnishing and delivering FUEL OIL to various
departments of the City of St. Paul for the 1957-58 season ending August 15, 1958,
as follows:
NORTHWESTERN REFINING COMPANY - Approximately 50,000 gallons #2 Fuel Oil
at a contract price of approximately $5,487.50
RICHARDS OIL COMPANY - Approximately 280,000 gallons #6 Fuel Oil and
675,000 gallons #5 Fuel Oil
at a contract price of approximately $79,775.00
SINCLAIR REFINING COMPANY - Approximately 158,300 gallons #2 Fuel Oil,
9600 gallons #1 Range Oil,
10,000 gallons Grade A Diesel Fuel Oil,
at a contract price of approximately $20,814.61
all in accordance with City specifications and the Formal Bid #6422, they being the
lowest reasonable and reliable bidders and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directed to draw up the proper forms of contract therefor and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute said contracts on behif of the City of St. Paul,
