RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee therefor,
and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to Bureau of Municipal Equipment,
891 North Dale Street, St. Paul, Minnesota, One 13 cu. yd. Standard Leach Packmaster
Compactor type Garbage Body with container adaptor and two containers to PUBLIC WORKS
EQUIPMENT COMPANY, INC. , in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached
and the Formal Bid #6442 of said Public Works Equipment Company, Inc. at a cost of
$5,455.00, such bid being the lowest and said Public Works Equipment Company, Inc. being
a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be, and hereby is directed
to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
