OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK NCIL RESOLUTION-GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONE DATE WHEREAS, it is necessary to schedule an examination for the position of "Assistant Manager--Water Department", and WHEREAS, the Civil Service Bureau has found it impossible during recent months to establish suitable eligible lists for engineer- ing classes from among local applicants; therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the residence requirements for admission to examinations as provided in Section 16 of the Civil Service Rules, are hereby waived for the first examination for "Assistant Manager--Water Department to be held following passage of this resolution, date of the examination to be set at the discretion of the Civil Service Examiner.
