A public hearing having b-en had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objec ions and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Counc 1 of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the s.id City is. restore the sidewalk on both sides of Arbor St.
from Jefferson Avenue to Palace Avenue by constructing new sidewalk where necessary
and by repairing where p actical,
and the Council hereby orders s.id improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, Ihat the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and •pecifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said appro al, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said i provement in accordance therewith.

ary order of the Council, k own as Council File No. 1$2492 approved
April 25th. 1157 , relative to the restoration of the sidewalk on
both sides of Arbor St. from Jefferson Ave. to Palace Ave. by constructing new side-
walk where necessary and by repairing where practical.
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
