Dear Sir:
This is in he matter of the application of the Standard
Oil Company for a permit to relocate an existing driveway
on the prop-rty adjacent to the southeast corner of West
7th and Dav-rn. This property is described as lots 6 and
7 and the w-st 38' of the north 25' of lot 8, Snelling Out-
_ lots. The -oning is "commercial."
The permit o establish this filling station was originally
granted Sep ember 27, 1956. The filling station is presently
under const uction. The applicants propose to extend the
filling sta ion pperation an additional 38' to the east under
this permit. This request has been made possible through
an exchange of easements between Standard Oil Company and
the owner o' the property to the east. The property to the
east is zon-d "commercial" the owner of which desires to
construct a motel on this property.
Field inves igation discloses no objection to this proposal
from the standpoint of land use or traffic. In consideration
of these fa tors, the Zoning Board recommends that this per-
mit to enla' ge an existing filling station be granted in
accordance ith the applicant's plans approved Ma ,23, 1957.
