RESOLVED, that Toni Division of the Gillette Company
be permitted to install and operate an employe parking lot
at the northeast corner of Olive and Fifth Streets, on
Lots 5 and 6, Block 42, Kittsonts Addition, in accordance
with plans filed August 28, 1957, subject to compliance
with the provisions of all ordinances governing the operation
of parking lots, and subject to the further condition that
sidewalks abutting said premises be kept clean and free of
ice and snow at all times.

Dear Sir:
This is in the mater of the application of the Toni Company
Division of the G llette Company for a permit to install and
operate an employee parking lot on the property located ad-
jacent to the northeast corner of E. Fifth St. and Olive. The
property under consideration is described as Lots 5 & 6, Block
42, Kittson's Addition. The zoning is Heavy Industry.
The property is presently vacant and has a frontage of 100 ft.
on E. Fifth St. a d 88 ft. on Olive. The applicants propose
to develop the si a as an employee parking lot in connection
with their manuf a turfing business. The lot will have a capacity
of 27 cars.
The design standa s pertaining to off-street parking lots have
been complied with. The parking facility will be served by two
driveways from Oli e St. The property is satisfactorily enclosed
for the protection of adjoining public and private property.
The lay-out and op ration of this facility have been approved by
the Traffic Engine r. Field investigation discloses no objection
from the standpoin of adjacent land use.
In consideration o these factors the Zoning Board recommends that
this permit to est blish an employees parking lot at this location
be granted in acco dance with plans filed August 28.,. 1957.
