RESOLVED, that Northern Federal Savings 8, Loan Association
be permitted to install and operate a customer-employe parking
lot on the south side of Pinehurst Avenue, approximately 70 feet
west of Clevelan Avenue, on Lots 1 , 2 and 3, Block 9,
St. Catherine Pea*, in accordance with plans filed September 10,
1957, and subject to compliance with the proVIsions of all
ordinances governing the operating of parking lots and subject
to the further condition that sidewalks abutting said premiss
be kept clean and free of ice and snow at all times.

Dear Sir:
This is in the matter of the application of the Northern Federal Savings
and Loan Association for a permit to install aid operate a customer parking
Lot on the property located adjacent to the southwest corner of Cleveland and
Pinehurst. This propert is described as Lots 1,2, and 3, Block 9, St. Cath-
erine Park. The zoning s `Commercial" .
The property is presentl vacant and has a frontage of 74 ft. on Pinehurst
and extends southerly 12 .6 ft. The applicants propose to develop the site
as a customer parking to in conjunction with a bank which is presently under
construction adjoining t e parking lot on the east. The parking lot will
have a capacity of 23 ca s. The yard requirements and the design standards
for parking lots have be.n complied with. Access to and from the parking lot
will be from one drivewa on Pinehurst.
The layout and operation of this proposed parking lot have been approved by
the Traffic Engineer. F eld investigation discloses no objection from the
standpoint of adjacent 1.nd use. Applicant's plans call for a satisfactory
buffer strip sodded and andscaped to protect the residential character of
the property to the west
In consideration of thes: factors the Zoning Board recommends that this
permit to establish a cu-tomer parking lot incident to a bank at this locat-
ion be granted in accord-nce with the plans filed September 10, 1957.
