Resolved, That the Council hereby
RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee therefor,
and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services '
necessary for or reasonably incidental to the Mechanical Work of Three Recreational Shelter
Buildings located at Dale anc Arlington Playground (Dale Street and Arlington Avenue),
Dunning Playground (on vacated Griggs Street between Carroll Avenue and vacated Iglehart
Avenue), Duluth and Case Playground (Duluth Street and Case Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota,
to AXEL NEWMAN HEATING & PLUMBING COMPANY in accordance with City plans and specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6634 of said Axel Newman Heating & Plumbing
Company for the contract price of $15,848.00, such bid being the lowest and said Axel Newman
Heating & Plumbing Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel
be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper
City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
Saint Paul.
