COUNCIL RESOLUTION—GENERAL FORM /PRESENTED BY G / ` {�(� —COMMISSIONER PRESENTED 6 +++���✓✓✓ ��-111,,,,,,((( DATE WHEREAS, In the matter of Comptroller's Contract L-5801—A, for the construction of the grading and sewer in Iowa, Idaho and California from Ruth to Curve, St. Paul Dredging Co., contractor, the specified date of completion is July 1, 1957, and WHEREA , The contractor has prosecuted the work diligently but due to incle ent weather conditions beyond the control of the contractor, it w s not possible to complete the contract until Sept. 6, 1957, t erefore, be it RESOLV D,That the proper City officials be and they are hereby authorize and directed to execute an amendment to said con- tract extending the time of completion to Sept 6, 1957, provided, however, that this resolution shall have no force or effect unless the sureties on the contractor's bond consent thereto and file such con- sent in writing with the City Comptroller, and be it FURTHEl RESOLVED, That the City of St. Paul hereby waives all claims for liquidated damages and that no engineering and inspection costs on this project will be charged by the City on account of such extended period.
