In the matter of condemning and : king. an easement in the land necessary for slopes,
cuts and fills in grading and surfacing with bituminous material the alley in Block 7,
Macalester Park and E. V. Kenner's Re.; the North East-and-West alley from Macalester
St. to vacated portion of the Nort' East-and-West alley; the North-and-South alley
from Princeton Ave. to the North ::st-and-West alley and the South East-and-West
alley from the North-and-South ally to the cul-de-sac,
under Preliminary Order.. 182071+ , approved March 26, 1957
Intermediary Order_ 2304 , approved May 28:_ 1957
Final Order 18354 , approved July 2, 1957
The Commissioner of Finance having s bmitted his report in the above matter as to the amount of
damages awarded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above improvement
and to whom payable; and also having sub II itted his assessment of benefits to property from the making
of said improvement, therefore be it
Resolved, That the said assessment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved further, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a confirma-
tion of the awards of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said assessment of
benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Co'rt House in the City of St. Paul on the 9th day
of October , 19._5.7..._ at ten o'clock A. M., and that the Commissioner of Finance
be and he is hereby directed to give notice of said hearing as prescribed by the Charter.
