An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 7607, entitled:
"An ordinance fixing the duties and responsi-
bilities and the minimum qualifications for the various
classes of positions in the Classified Service of the City, ''
approved February 13, 1935, as amended:
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 7607, approved February 13,
1935, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by inserting
in its proper alphabetical order the following specifications for:
"Storekeeper--Voting Machines".

STOR' KEEPER--VOTING MACHINES
Duties and responsi•ilities:
Under supervisio , to be responsible for the storage, delivery,
setting, adjust ng and repair of the City's voting machines;
to supervise s bordinates; and to perform related work as
assigned.
Examples of work pe formed:
To prepare voting machines for elections, which includes preparing
and rotating st- te, county, and city ballots, inserting ballots,
resetting count-rs, grouping and compensating ballot straps,
and checking a•justment of machines.
To arrange mach' es for delivery.
To make minor re•airs.
To keep time reco, ds.
To prepare eiecti•n supplies for delivery.
To direct extra he p in work on voting machines.
Minimum qualificatio' s:
High school grad Lion and at least seven years' clerical experience,
at least two yea. s of which must have been as a senior clerk in a
registration bu eau working with voting machines,
