Hurley AUG 2 3 195/ Corporation Counsel City of Saint Paul CORM/MON COUNSEL Dear Sir: Will you ]kindly prepare a resolution for Commissioner Holland to amend resolution C.F. 181017 approved Jan. 9, 1957, by which the Council ratified and confirmed the condemnation and awards of damages in the matter of acquiring, taking, and appropriating for playground purposes Lot 6 except the East 80 ft. of the South 150 feet; Lot 7 except the South 150 ft.; also all of Lots 8 and 9, Block 4, Dawson's Acre Lots and which showed an award of $12,800 made to John L. and Clara Cich for the acquisition of Lot 9, Block L , Dawson's Acre Lots, so as to change said award of damages to $11,300 and provide that said owners, John L. and Clara Cich, shall retain ownership of the dwelling, garage, shed, and all other appurtenances, and to permit said owners to remove the buildings to another location subject to all laws and ordinances regulating the moving of buildings. The amount of $1,500 deducted from the award originally rati- fied represents the writer's opinion of the market value of the buil- dings for the purpose of moving them to a new location, and the pro- posed amendment meets with the approval of the undersigned.
