CORM/MON COUNSEL
Dear Sir:
Will you ]kindly prepare a resolution for Commissioner Holland
to amend resolution C.F. 181017 approved Jan. 9, 1957, by which the
Council ratified and confirmed the condemnation and awards of damages
in the matter of acquiring, taking, and appropriating for playground
purposes Lot 6 except the East 80 ft. of the South 150 feet; Lot 7
except the South 150 ft.; also all of Lots 8 and 9, Block 4, Dawson's
Acre Lots and which showed an award of $12,800 made to John L. and Clara
Cich for the acquisition of Lot 9, Block L , Dawson's Acre Lots, so as to
change said award of damages to $11,300 and provide that said owners,
John L. and Clara Cich, shall retain ownership of the dwelling, garage,
shed, and all other appurtenances, and to permit said owners to remove
the buildings to another location subject to all laws and ordinances
regulating the moving of buildings.
The amount of $1,500 deducted from the award originally rati-
fied represents the writer's opinion of the market value of the buil-
dings for the purpose of moving them to a new location, and the pro-
posed amendment meets with the approval of the undersigned.
Yours very truly,
; a
Ass't Valuation & Assessment Engineer
