Resolution of Council Approving Assessment
and Fixing Time of Hearing Thereon

In the matter of the assessment of benefits,/costs and expenses for
changing the grade of the alleys in Block 2, Edmund Rice's 4th Addition, from Sims Ave.
to Case Ave. and from Arkwright St. to the north-and-south alley to conform to the grade
as shown on the profile on file in the Department of Public Works. Also grading and
surfacing with bituminous material the alleys in Block 2, Edmund Rice's 4th Addition,
from Sims Ave. to Case Ave. and from Arkwright St. to the north-and-south alley to the
proposed change of grade,
under Preliminary Order 177501 , approved April 17, 1956
Intermediary Order 177951 , approved May 22, 1956
Final Order 178314.9 , approved June 19, 1956
The assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for and in connection with
the above improvement having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same
and found the said assessment satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had on said assessment on the 2nd
day of October , 19 57 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give notice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, the total cost thereof, and the amount assessed against the
lot or lots of the particular owner to whom the notice is directed.
