RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment
and services necessary for or reasonably incidental to the installation of Parking
Area, Service Road and Bituminous Surfacing for the New Highland Park Pavilion
located on Montreal Avenue, between Edgcumbe Road and West Seventh Street, Saint
Paul, Minnesota, to ST. PAUL SHEET ASPHALT COMPANY, in accordance with City plans
and specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6612 of said St. Paul
Sheet Asphalt Company for the contract price of $20,675.00, such bid being the lowest
and said St. Paul Sheet Asphalt Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and
the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute
said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
