WHEREAS, For Some time past the City of Saint Paul has rented from the
American Society the gymnasium and other parts of the buildings necessary to
operate the gymnasium in the building owned by said American Society, at the north-
west corner of Bradley and Patridge Streets, for recreation purposes; and
WHEREAS, The Department of Parks, Playgrounds and Public Buildings
needs to use said building for the same purpose this year; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper city aficers be and they are hereby authorized
to enter into a lease for said premises for the year 1957, at a rental of One Hundred
Dollars($ 100. 00) per month, payable out of the Playground Fund 19-B-3, and the
Corporation Counsel is directed to prepare the proper lease therefor.
