RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be. and he is hereby authorized,
with the consent of the Comptroller, to purchase from MELVIN HOULE
certain permanent fixtures and improvements to Water Department owned
house at Centerville Pump Station at a cost of $900.00, without advertisement
or competitive bids as this is the only source of supply at such a savings in
cost to the City and no advantage could be gained thereby.
