RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee therefor,
and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services
necessary for or reasonably incidental to the Grading, Surfacing, Curbing, and
Landscaping for Phalen Parking Area located at Wheelock Parkway and Forest Street,
Saint Paul, Minnesota, to ST. PAUL SHEET ASPHALT COMPANY in accordance with City
plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6551 of said
St. Paul Sheet Asphalt Company at a total contract price of $6,850.00, such bid
being the lowest bid and said St. Paul Sheet Asphalt Company being a reasonable
and reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw
up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
