and Public Buildings is authorized to enter upon the premises
described as Except N. 125 feet of Lot 15 and Except E. 10
feet of Lot 17, and all of Lot 16, Block 10, Mackubin &
Marshall's Addition to St. Paul, according to the recorded
plat thereof in the office of the Register of Deeds of Ramsey
County, Minnesota, also described as No. 404-6 North Dale Street,
and wreck and remove the two story frame fourplex thereon, and
to do any and all things therein necessary for the protection
of life, limb and adjoining property.

Gentlemen: & Madam:
Under date of July 15 , 1957 , a printed copy of C. F.
183623 was mailed to John E. Blomquist, Inc. , Empire Bank
Building , St. Paul 1 , and Irving Levenson, 394 N. Dale
Street, St. Paul 3, which resolution directed the wrecking
and removal of the two story frame fourplex at 404-6 N.
Dale Street, also described as Except N 125 feet of Lot 15
and Except E 10 feet of Lot 17 , and all of Lot 16, Block
10 , Mackubin & Marshall ' s Addition to St. Paul , as publish-
ed in the official paper.
Mr. Levenson directed a letter to Commissioner Holland on
June l'> in which he advised that negotiations were under
way to have the existing buildings removed as soon as fi-
nancial arrangements have been completed.
However, no appeal has been filed with this office for a re-
hearing of the condemnation proceedings and the building
has not been removed. Please proceed with the condemnation
action which will authorize the Commissioner of Parks ,
Playgrounds And Public Buildings to enter upon the property
and wreck and remove the building thereon, and do any and
all things therein necessary for the protection of life ,
limb and adjoining property.
