PETITION August 15, 1957
To the Honorable Members of the Council of the City of St . Paul
Gentlemen:
We, the undersigned, property owners on Beechwood Ave, OBJECT to
the proposed improvement of Beechwood ave from Fairview to
Snelling as outlined in Preliminary Order 183189.
We are of the opinion that Beechwood is in better condition than
the majority of the streets in our city, and certainly in no
more need of repair than the adjoining streets in this area.
To select this one small portion for resurfacing is not justified.
We further feel that the cost apportionment between city and
property owner is unfair.
