S. D, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul
in behalf ofraid City and its inhabitants hereby takes and
records official cognizance of the demise of Karen Langland
Fossen, mother of Carl C. Langland, prominent press representative
assigned to said Council and another son, Harold S. Langland
and a daughter, Henrietta Langland Bonn, who survived her
together with her eight grandchildren, which occurred when she
was summoned from this life by Almighty God on the 9th fray of
August A. D. 1957;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that said Council, in behalf of said
City and its inhabitants, hereby takes and records official
cognizance of the meritorious career and accomplishments of
said Karen Langland Fossen, deceased, who at the time of her
death and for many years next prior thereto was a resident
of said City and possessed and merited therein an excellent
reputation for high moral calibre and worthy citizenship; that
said Council, in behalf of said City and its inhabitants, hereby
extends sympathy and condolence to the aforesaid surviving
children and grandchildren of said decedent; and that the City
Clerk be and hereby is authorized and directed to cause an
engrossed copy of this resolution to be prepared and delivered
to said Carl G. Langland with all convenient speed.
