PAUL ' Resolution Ratifying Assessment In the matter of the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for grading and surfacing with bituminous material the alley in Block 13, Merriam Park 2nd Addition, from Wilder Street to Cleveland Avenue, under Preliminary Order 177267-.-, Intermediary Order 17785.9 , Final Order 178267 approved June 12 19.56 A public hearing having been had upon the assessment for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council, and having been considered finally satisfactory, be it therefore RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects ratified, and the same is hereby ordered to be submitted to the District Court of the County of Ramsey for confirmation. BE IT THER RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and it is hereby determined to be payable rryiel in J equal installments. Preliminary Order No. 177268, March 28, 1956. I have been advised that there will be another hearing in the condemnation proceedings referred to above in the near future, and I write to file a formal objection as the work which was done last October or November in the alley between Laurel and Selby adjacent to my lot was not satisfactory inasmuch as the alley is about three inches lower on my lot side with the result that the water drains onto my sidewalk and then into the lot and garage. I feel that this condition is damaging my property and request that the alley be raised so as to permit proper drainage of surface water.
