WHEREAS, George W. Arvidson and Norma Anna Arvidson,
owners of
Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot eighteen
(18) ; thence West on North line thereof one hundred
seventeen and thirty-two one hundredths (117. 32)
feet for point of beginning of land to be described;
thence at an angle of seventy degrees fifty-one
minutes (70° 51 ' ) to left sixty-five and eighteen
one hundredths (65.18) feet; thence West parallel
with said North line one hundred fifty (150) feet
to Southeasterly line of Wheelock Parkway; thence
Northeasterly thereon to said North line; thence
East one hundred forty-nine and six one hundredths
( 149.06) feet to beginning, being part of Lot
eighteen (18), Cottage Homes,
condemned by the City of Saint Paul by resolution known as
Council File No. 183595, have filed a Notice of Appeal from
the amount of the award of $1,550.00, and ask the Court to
award them $4,000.00; and
WHEREAS, a settlement has been arrived at between the
City of Saint Paul and the parties; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that Council File No. 183595 be amended by
increasing the amount of the aforementioned award to $1,800.00,
and the Comptroller is hereby authorized to pay this award
upon the filing by the aforementioned Arvidsons of a dismissal
of their Notice of Appeal, and furnishing the necessary proof
of title to the Corporation Counsel.
