PAUL FIOE NCIL O }., + [� OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK C UNCIL RESOLUTION—GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONER— !6�z DATF WHEREAS, the City Architect having requested the City Council to hold a public hearing to consider any complaints about the expense incurred by the City of Saint Paul in removing dangerous structures at 440 Fulton Street, more particularly described as Lot 20, Block 1, Roger & Ramseyts Addition, St. Paul, according to the plat thereof filed of record in the office of the Register of Deeds of Ramsey County, Minnesota, the City Council held a public hearing on July 31 , 1957 to consider the expense and to confirm the amount thereof , and WHEREAS, it appears that the City Council, pursuant to C. F.. No. 180534, approved November 29, 1956 and published December 1, 1956, set a public hearing to consider removing the dangerous structures, and the City Council by C. F. No. 180938 approved January 3, 1957, and published January 5, 1957, ordered the wrecking by and at the separate cost and expense of the owner, occupant or other person in control thereof, and said Council by C. F. 181216, approved January 25, 1957, and published February 2, 1957, directed the Commissioner of Parks, Playgrounds and Public Buildings to enter upon the premises and wreck and remove the dwelling, shed, chicken coop and out house thereon, and do any and all things therein necessary for the protection of life, limb and adjoining property, and that the City of Saint Paul has incurred the expense of $317.13 in removing said structures; and WHEREAS, it appears that August Ruprecht,440 Fulton Street is the owner of the premises, copies of proceedings herein having been mailed to Albert J. Okoneski, City Clerk, do hereby make and file a formal statement of expense incurred by the City of Saint Paul in the removal and wreckage of a building at 440 Fulton Street; described as Lot 20, Block 1, Roger & Ramsey's Addition, St. Paul. STATEMENT OF EXPENSE Said expense, as hereinabove stated, was incurred by the City of Saint Paul on June 11. 1957 , for wrecking and removal of building at 440 Fulton Street: Expenses of Dept. of Parks, Playgrounds and Public Buildings for investigations, notifi- cations, and condemnation $25.00 Specifications 19.13 To Truck Crane Service Co. , 1950 Charles Ave., for wrecking, in accordance with specifications and Formal Bid No. 6322, as per Council File No. 182627, Contract G 742 273.00 $317.13 Said expense, as hereinabove stated, was incurred by the City of Saint Paul on June 11, 1957. The authorization for this statement is given in Council File No. 184105, passed by the Council of the City of Saint Paul on August 9, 1957, a copy of which is attached and made a part hereof. This statement is herewith being filed in the office of the Register of Deeds for the County of Ramsey, pursuant to Ordinance No. 7210 of the City of Saint Paul, as amended, Section 107, for the purpose of registering a lien in favor of the said City of Saint Paul on the land described herein.
