R. Conry Construction Co. for a permit to install and operate an employee parking lot and truck storage garage on a tract of land located adjacent to the N. side of Case between Clarance and Birmingham. The property under consideration is described as Lots 7 to 13 inclusive except the 11'ly 15 ft. of said lots 8,9,10,11 R 12, Block 1, Fairchild and Howard's Rearrangement of Part of Tracy's Outlots. The zoning is commercial having been reclassified from "B” Res. in July, 1957 for the parking use. The property is presently vacant and has a frontage of some 256.36 ft. on Case and extends northerly to a depth of 138 ft. The parking area will have a capacity of approx. 68 vehicles divided between an open area which will have a capacity of 32 cars and a storage garage that will have a capacity of some 36 cars and trucks. The storage garage will be located at the rear of the premises adjacent to the railroad right-of-way of the Chicago, St. Paul Mpls. 8 Omaha R.R. The front yard requirements of the Zoning Ord. for parking lots will be complied with. Field investigation discloses no objection from the standpoint of adjacent land use or traffic and the plans have been approved by all affected public agencies. In consideration of these factors the Zoning Board recommends this permit be granted in accordance with the applicant's plans approved July 18, 1957. Sincerely, cl;) C. D.
