WHEREAS, pursuant to C. F. 178060, approved May 29, 1956,
a lien was filed on behalf of the City of Saint Paul, in the
amount of $197.45, pertaining to the demolishing of a structure
at No. 1459 Payne Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota, recorded in
the name of Frank and Mathilda Hawkinson, Murnane and Murnane,
attorneys, representing the estate of Mathilda Hawkinson,
deceased, the Ramsey County Welfare Board also having a lien
against said premises in excess of $6,000, and
WHEREAS, the representatives of said estate have received
an offer of $3200.00 for said property, and have offered a
compromise settlement of the Cityts lien, of $100.00, tile
Ramsey County Welfare Board having also agreed to a compromise
settlement of its lien, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City officers be and they are
hereby authorized to execute a satisfaction of said lien per-
taining to the demolishing of the structure at No. 1459 Payne
Avenue, accepting the sum of $100.00 in full settlement.
