COUNCIL RESOLUTION—GENERAL FORM

WHEREAS , Vincent A. Hurley, an employe of the
Department of Public Safety of the City of Saint Paul,
was injured on March 28, 1955, when he was kicked while
searching Thomas J. Lyons ; and
WHEREAS , the City has incurred medical expenses
in the amount of $31.00 in connection with said injury
to the employe, and has paid the employe salary in the
amount of $397.10 while he was disabled for duty due to
said injury, or a total of $428.10; and
WHEREAS , a settlement has been negotiated between
the parties for a total amount of $750, which amount is
considerably less than the amount which the employe might
be able to obtain under more favorable circumstances ,
Now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City officers are hereby
authorized to accept the offered settlement of $75.00 in
connection with the above mentioned injury, and that the
sum of $31.00 be credited to Fund 31-G1-B, and the sum
of $44.00 be credited to Fund 7-C-1.
