VJHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul's Educarion Initiarives places as lugh prioriry on preparing all children for school and life;
and
WHEREAS, the Tmveler's Foundation atteinpts tluough charitable giving to assist education efforts; and
WHEREAS, the Traveler's Foundation has agreed to donate $125,000 to the City of Saint Paul- Mayor Coleman's Post
Secondary Prepazedness Iniriarive for special project funding for the Ready for School, Ready for Life leaming program which
will close the achievement gap in educarion in Saint Paul.
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of St. Paul aceepts the coniribution of Travelers Foundarion and dedicated it to the use
intended; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Thanks the Traveler's Foundation for its generous gift.
