RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Public
Safety Repair Shop, 1441 Rice Street, St. Paul, Minnesota, three 1958 Chevrolet
Model 1293, 8-cylinder, 4-door, 6-passenger Station Wagons and two 1958 Chevrolet
Model 1241, 8-cylinder, 2-door Sedans for Police Emergency Service, to CHAMPION
CHEVROLET COMPANY in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and
the Formal Bid #6984 of said Champion Chevrolet Company at a contract price of $9,646.94,
such bid being the lowest meeting specifications and said Champion Chevrolet Company
being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
authorized to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials
are hereby directed to execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
