ed under Contract G-1204 between the City of Saint Paul and
Axel Newman Heating & Plumbing Co. , Inc . , said contract for
Mechanical Work for Remodeling of the Third Floor of the Public
Utilities Building , 100 East Tenth Street, Saint Paul, and said
extra to cover furnishing and installation of 3/4 inch thick
Woolfelt pipe insulation on the rainleaders on the second
floor of this building, this work having been requested by the
Commissioner of Public Utilities and agreement made with the
Contractor, and a memorandum of said agreement having been
filed with the Comptroller and countersigned by him.

Dear Sir:
Contract Number G 1204 was awarded to Axel Newman Heating
& Plumbing Co. , Inc. for Mechanical Work for Remodeling of
the Third Floor of the Public Utilities Building, 100
East Tenth Street, St. Paul.
During the course of the work under this contract, it
was found desirable to furnish and install 3/4 inch thick
Woolfelt pipe insulation on the rainleaders on the second
floor of this building, and at the request of the Commis-
sioner of Public Utilities negotiations have been conducted
with the contractor, who agrees to do this for the amount
of $118.00, which is a reasonable amount for the labor and
material involved.
It is, therefore, recommended that a resolution be submit-
ted to the Council authorizing this extra in the amount of
$118.00 to Contract Number G 1204 to cover the above describ-
ed work.
