In the Matter of the restoration of the sidewalk on the south side of George St. from
Humboldt Ave. west approximately 50 ft. and on the west side of Humboldt Ave. from
George St. south to the approximate south line of Lot 9, Block 98, West St. Paul Proper,
the above walk to abut the property otherwise known as numbers L and 6 West George St.,
under Preliminary Order 185850 approved January 21, 1958

A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is the restoration of the sidewalk on the south side
of George St. from Humboldt Ave. west approximately 50 ft. , and on the west side of
Humboldt Ave. from George St. south to the approximate south line of Lot 9, Block 98,
West St. Paul Proper, the above walk to abut the property otherwise known as numbers
14 and 6 West George Street,
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

To the Commissioner of Finance of the City of Saint Paul:
The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the prelimin-
ary order of the Council, known as Council File No. 185,850 approved
Jan. 21st. 1958 , relative to the restoration of the sidewalk on
the south side of George St. from Humboldt Ave. west approximately 50 ft. and on
the west side of Humboldt Ave. from George St. south to the approximate south line
of Lot 9, Blk 98, West St. Paul Proper. The above walk to abut the property other-
wise known as No's 4 and 6 West George St.
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
