In the matter of partially opening, widening and extending Randolph Avenue, as an
approach to the proposed Shepard Road, from Duke Street to the northwesterly right-
of-way line of the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha Railway Company in
Block 27, Stinson, Brown and Ramsey's Addition to St. Paul by condemning and taking
an easement for highway purposes on and across a strip of land 82 ft. in width de-
scribed as follows: All that part of Block 27, Stinson, Brown and Ramsey's Addition,
bounded by the following described lines:
Beginning at a point on the west line of Duke Street which is 55.88 ft. north
of its intersection with the north line of the present Randolph Avenue; thence west
on a straight line parallel to and distant 55,88 ft. north from the said north line
of Randolph Avenue to a point on the northwesterly right-of-way line of the Chicago,
St, Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha Railway Company; thence northeasterly on the said
right-of-way line to the point where it intersects a line parallel to and distant
137.88 ft. from the north line of Randolph Avenue; thence east on the last described
line to its intersection with the west line of Duke Street; thence south on the said
west line of Duke Street to the point of beginning, all in the City of St. Paul,
County of Ramsey and State of Minnesota.
Also condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary on the northerly
side for slopes, cuts and fills in the grading and paving of the proposed Randolph
Avenue connection to Shepard Road in Block 27, Stinson, Brown and Ramsey's Addition
to St. Paul between Duke Street and Erie Street to the grade as shown in the profile
on file in the Department of Public Works.

Resolved further, that the said assessment of benefits, be and the same is hereby in all respects ratified,
and the same is hereby ordered to be submitted to the District Court for confirmation.

That he has fixed and determined the value of the land, lands or easements therein taken and appro-
priated for the above improvement and the amounts of the awards of damages therefor to the owners
thereof, and the persons to whom such awards are payable; that he has also fixed and determined the
amount of benefits to property, from the making of said improvement, not exceeding the cost there-
of, and that hereto attached is an assessment roll entitled as above and identified with the signature of
the undersigned, containing the undersigned's finding on said matters.
