WHEREAS, in the 1958 program of acquisition of right of way and construc-
tion for Shepard Road from James Avenue to the vicinity of Sumac Street extend-
ed southerly, said project being designated as Municipal County State Aid
Street No. 5041 a combined County and Municipal State Aid project, the available
county funds have been fully allocated to other projects within the city, making
it necessary that the 1958 work be financed solely from Municipal State Aid
funds; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the City of St. Paul charge the full cost of the necessary
right of way and construction to the Municipal State Aid fund, this project
already having been given a project number by the Minnesota Highway Department
for 1958 construction; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Board of County Commissioners be requested to
concur in this allocation of costs for 1958 in connection with the aforesaid
Municipal County State Aid Street.
