RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Department
of Public Works, Bureau of Municipal Equipment, 891 North Dale Street, St. Paul,
Minnesota, Two Thew Moto Wheel Tractor Loaders Model ML-153 to BEMENT-CAHILL EQUIPMENT
COMPANY, in accorance with City specifications therefor h . to at jc • and the Formal
Bid ;,6979 of said Bement-Cahill Equipment Company at a cost of $31,060.00, less
allowance of $10,100.00 for two 1953 Model 88 Oliver Wheel Tractors with front end
loaders and 6 ft. fluid Broom, making total amount of contract $20,960.00, such bid
being the lowest and said Bement-Cahill Equipment Company being a reasonable and
reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be, and hereby is directed to draw up the
proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized
to execute said contract on behalf of the ,City of St. Paul.
