WHEREAS, Myron Longeway, an employe of the Department of
Public Safety, Bureau of Fire , sustained an injury while
in the course of his employment on January 3, 1952, resulting
in his death on January 13, 1952, and
WHEREAS , pursuant to order of the Industrial Commission,
The City of Saint Paul has paid the sum of $10,000 to the
widow of said employe , for the benefit of herself and the
minor children of said Myron Longeway, and
WHEREAS, Irene A . Longeway, widow of said employe has
petitioned the Industrial Commission for benefits under
Chapter 457, Laws of 1951, and an award pursuant thereto
has been made , now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that out of the Workmen' s Compensation Account of
the General Fund, effective December 30, 1957, said Irene
A. Longeway, widow of Myron Longeway, be paid compensation
at the rate of $20.00 per week , for the benefit of herself
and minor dependent children, during dependency, but not to
exceed a total additional payment in the sum of $2,500.00,
and that the sum of $260.00, as compensation, to and including
March 28, 1958, is now payable.
