In the Matter of regrading, curbing and paving Snelling Avenue from Montreal Avenue
to Edgcumbe Road; paving alley and driveway returns; reconstructing existing curb and
sidewalk where necessary; constructing new sidewalk where necessary; constructing
sewer, water and gas service connections from street mains to property lines where
necessary; constructing storm water sewer from Edgcumbe Road to 800 feet north of the
north line of Edgcumbe Road to provide street drainage facilities; reconstructing the
paving, curbing and sidewalks on the intersecting streets where not in conformity with
said improvement; constructing conduits and appurtenances for future lighting and
traffic control systems and doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to
complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 158132 approved February 11, 1958
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is i•egrade, curb and

and do all other work which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 100,254.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 29th day of
April , 19_5$_, at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
