The zoning is "C" residence, having been re- classified recently for the purpose of construction of a 14 unit apartment building on this site. The property is presently vacant and has a frontage of 186.77' along Lafond Street and 124.63' along Chatsworth. The applicants propose to construct two seven unit apartment buildings with off-street parking facilities for 14 cars. The Traffic Engineer has approved the proposed Lay out and operation of this parking facility. Existing requirements of the Zoning Code with refer- ence to yard areas and parking facilities will be complied with. Field investigation discloses no objection from the standpoint of adjacent land use or traffic. In consideration of these factors, the Zoning Board recommends that this permit be granted in accordance with applicant's plans approved January 9, 1958, filed March 5, 1958 for parking lot.
