• RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Grading of Iowa Avenue from Payne
Avenue to Arcade Street; Idaho Avenue from Parkway Drive to Arcade Street; Greenbrier
0 Street from Montana Avenue to Parkway Drive; Walsh Street from Montana Avenue to
Iowa Avenue; Weide Street from Montana Avenue to Idaho Avenue, also construct a
storm sewer in Weide Street from Iowa Avenue to Idaho Avenue to GANGL EXCAVATING
& GRADING COMPANY, INC. in accordance with City plans and specifications therefor
hereto attached and the Formal Bid r6974_ of said Gangl Excavating 5: Grading
Company, Inc. for the contract price of $12,447. 70 (plus Engineering $996.00 and
plus Inspection $249.00 by City Forces) such bid being the lowest and said Gangl
Excavating & Grading Company, Inc. being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form o f contract
therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said
contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
