RESOLVED, That an extra in the amount of $72.50 be al-
lowed under Contract Number G-1167 between the City of Saint
Paul and Dahl Gas Heating Company, said contract for Installa-
tion of a Conversion Gas Burner in Boiler No. 1 at the Public
Safety Building, and said extra to cover the furnishing and
installation of
One (1) diaphram pressure gauge , 2%" dial, 0-35 inches
of water, U. S. Gauge Co. Figure 633-S
One ( 1) Industrial Engineering Corp. Model GG-1,
gauge guard, range 20 inches of water to 5 psig,
aluminum body, set to cut off at 30 inches of water
the above gauge and gauge guard to be suitable for natural
gas ; this work having been requested by the Commissioner of
Public Safety, and agreement made with the contractor, and a
memorandum of said agreement having been filed with the
Comptroller and countersigned by him.

Dear Sir:
Contract Number G-1167 was awarded to Dahl Gas Heating
Company for installation of a Conversion Gas Burner in
Boiler No. 1 at the Public Safety Building, St. Paul.
During the course of the work , it was found desirable to
furnish and install the following equipment:
One (1) diaphram pressure gauge, 26" dial, 0-35 inches
of water, U. S. Gauge Co. Figure 633-S
One (1) Industrial Engineering Corp. Model GG-1,
gauge guard, range 20 inches of water to 5 psig,
aluminum body, set to cut off at 30 inches of wat-
er,
the above gauge and gauge guard to be suitable for natural
gas; and at the request of the Commissioner of Public Safe-
ty, negotiations have been conducted with the contractor
who agrees to furnish and install this equipment for $72.50,
which is a reasonable amount for the labor and material in-
volved.
It is therefore requested that a resolution be submitted
to the Council authorizing this extra in the amount of
$72.50 to Contract G 1167 to cover the above described work.
