RESOLVED, That an extra in the amount of $1,997.00 be allowed
under Contract Number L-5738-A between the City of Saint Paul
and the Sheehy Construction Company, said contract for General
Construction of the Public Health Center Building, St. Paul,
Minnesota, and said extra to cover additional flashing on the
back side of the coping and painting the walls and columns
in Rooms B-4 and B-5 with cement and stucco paint, this work
having been requested by the Commissioner of Public Safety and
agreement made with the Contractor, and a memorandum of said
agreement having been filed with the Comptroller and countersigned

Dear Sir:
Contract Number L-5738-A was awarded to the Sheehy Con-
struction Company for General Construction of the Public Health
Center Building, St. Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work under this contract it was
found that additional flashing on the back side of the coping
is required as well as painting the walls and columns in Rooms
B-4 and B-5 with cement and stucco paint, and at the request of
the Commissioner of Public Safety, negotiations have been con-
ducted with the Contractor who agrees to take care of these two
items for the amounts of $1,400.00 and $597.00 respectively, which
are reasonable amounts for the labor and material involved.
It is therefore requested that a Resolution be submitted to
the Council authorizing an extra in the total amount of $1,997.00
to contract number L-5738-A for the above described work.
