RESOLVED, that this Council having heretofore approved -
and authorized the sale of the subject hereinafter described
real estate owned by the City of Saint Paul, and all pro-
cedural anther prerequisites to a valid sale thereof , accord-
ing to the provisions of Ordinance No. 6576, approved November
5, 1925, having been duly performed, all as more particularly
appears from the pertinent public record and the applicable
report of the Purchasing Agent , and the Committee on Lands in
the premises having duly accepted, subject to the approval of
this Council, the highest and best bids therefor, by Theodore 1.
Koenen, respectively in the sum of $495.00 for the west 50
feet of the west 100 feet of the South One-half of Lot 4, Block
41, Brown & Jackson's Addition to West St. Paul, and in the
sum of $495.00 for the east 50 feet of the west 100 feet of the
South One-half of said Lot 4, as the highest and best bids
received in the premises, the appraised value of said real estate
having theretofore been duly fixed at $100.00, this Council
finding that the acceptance of said bids and the sale of the
hereinabove described City owned real estate and the conveyance
of the same, in each case, to said bidder, by warranty deed,
would best serve the public interests, the acceptance of said
bids and such sale and the conveyance of said real estate by
the City of Saint Paul pursuant thereto, hereby is in all things
approved and authorized, and the proper City officers hereby are
authorized to execute and deliver the warranty deed of the City
of Saint Paul, in respect of each separate parcel of real estate,
to said bidder as grantee, coincident, in each case, with the
bidder 's payment to the City of Saint Paul of the price bid
therefor.
