RESOLVED: That an extra in the amount of $217.00 be allowed under
contract number G-844 between the City of Saint Paul and Tab Con-
struction Company, said contract for the construction of new toilets
for Como Park Conservatory, and said extra to cover the following :
1. Remove approximately 170 sf of existing stone floor at
entrance to Palm House in lieu of patching stone floor
and replace with 4" concrete floor to match toilet
rooms.
Credit for omitting patching $ -30.00
Add for removal of stone floor and
new concrete 150.00
Net cost of above change: Add $ 120.00
2. Install 3/4" plywood on sloped portion of roof in
lieu of 5/8" plywood ; remove glass at palmhouse
where sloped roof abuts palmhouse and install ply-
wood ; install flashing where sloped roof abuts
palmhouse. Add $ 97.00

Dear Sir :
Contract Number G-844 was awarded to the Tab Construction Company
for the Construction of New Toilets for Corno Park Conservatory,
St. Paul, Minnesota .
During the course of the work the following changes have been
found necessary:
1. Remove approximately 170 sf of existing stone floor
at entrance to Palm House in lieu of patching stone
floor and replace with 4" concrete floor to match
toilet rooms.
Credit for omitting patching $ -30.00
Add for removal of stone floor and
new concrete 150.00
Net cost of above change: Add $ 120.00
2. Install 3/4" exterior plywood on sloped portion of
roof in lieu of 5/8" plywood ; remove glass at
palmhouse where sloped roof abuts palmhouse and in-
stall plywood ; install flashing where sloped roof
abuts palmhouse Add $ 97.00
It is therefore requested that a resolution be submitted to
the Council authorizing an extra in the amount of $217.00 to
Contract G-844 for the above described work.
