PAUL Resolution Ratifying Assessment In the matter of the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for curbing the east side of North Grotto Street from Arlington Avenue to Nebraska Avenue, and the north side of Arlington Avenue from North Grotto Street to alley in Block 5, Northern Pacific Addition, under Preliminary Order 175190 , Intermediary Order 175592 , Final Order 175883 approved November 29 1955 A public hearing having been had upon the assessment for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council, and having been considered finally satisfactory, be it therefore RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects ratified, and the same is hereby ordered to be submitted to the District Court of the County of Ramsey for confirmation. PAUL 1 OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER OF FINANCE 31 Report of Completion of Assessment October 15 19 57 In the matter of the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for curbing the east side of North Grotto Street from Arlington Avenue to Nebraska Avenue, and the north side of Arlington Avenue from North Grotto Street to alley in Block 5, Northern Pacific Addition, under Preliminary Order 175190 _ , approved September 28, 1955 Intermediary Order 175592 , approved November 1, 1955 Final Order 175883 , approved— November 29, 1955 _ To the Council of the City of St. Paul: The Commissioner of Finance hereby reports to the Council the following as a statement of the ex- penditures necessarily incurred for and in connection with the making of the above improvement, viz: Cost of construction. $ 1,625.00 Engineering $ 98.00 Inspection fees $ 32.50 _ Postal cards. $ 0.60 Publications 1+.50 _ Court costs for confirmation $ 1.50 Total expenditures $ 1,762.10 Said Commissioner further reports that he has assessed and levied the total amount as above ascer- tained, to-wit: the sum of $ 1,762.10 upon each and every lot, part or parcel of land deemed benefited by the said improvement, and in the case of each lot, part or parcel of land in accordance with the benefits conferred thereon; that the said assessment has been completed, and that hereto attached, identified by the signature of the said Commissioner, and made a part hereof, is the said assessment as completed by him, and which is herewith submitted to the Council for such action thereon as may be "' considered proper. /14,.
