WHEREAS, The Commissioner, the Chief Engineer, and the Street and Highway Engineering
Coordinator of the Department of Public Works have selected and recommended for approval
a system of State Aid Streets for the City of St. Paul; and
WHEREAS, It appears to the City Council of the City of St. Paul that the streets
recommended and hereinafter dese ibed should be designated as "Combination Municipal-
County State Aid Streets" under he provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1957, Chapter 943;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL D, By the City Council of the City of St. Paul that the
streets numbered and described a follows, to-wit:
(505) Jackson St. (County State Aid Road No. 53) from Larpenteur Ave. to Kellogg Blvd.
(504) Shepard Road (County State Aid Road No. 37) from Sibley St. to Otto Ave.thence on
Otto Ave. from Shepard Road to W. Seventh St.
(506) Stillwater Ave. (County State Aid Road No. 32) from White Bear Ave. to McKnight
Road (East Ave.)
be, and hereby are designated as "Combination Municipal-County State Aid Streets" of said
City, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Highways of the State of Minnesota.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, Tha the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
forward two certified copies of his resolution to the Commissioner of Highways for his
consideration, that upon his app oval of the designation of said streets, or portions
thereof, such approved streets or portions thereof shall comprise the Combination
Municipal-County State Aid Street System of the City of St. Paul, and that same be
constructed, improved and maintained in accordance with the rules and regulations of the
Commissioner of Highways, and the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1957, Chapter 943.
