RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the recommendation of the
Purchasing Committee in awarding contract for furnishing and delivering approximately
110,000 gallons Motor Gasoline to various departments of the City of St. Paul for the
period of December, 1957 - January and February, 1958 to THE TEXAS COE:P dY in
accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6728
of said The Texas Company for the contract price of approximately $13,766.50, such bid
being the lowest and said The Texas Company being the lowest reliable and reasonable
bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper
form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
execute said contract on beha_f of the City of St. Paul.
