RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water Department
Storeyard, f.o.b. Hemline & Carroll Avenues, St. Paul, Minnesota, 15,000 Linear Feet of 3/4",
10,000 Linear Feet of 1", 5,000 Linear Feet of l " and 2,000 Linear Feet of 2" Type "K"
Soft Seamless Copper Tubing, to GRINNELL CCMPANY, INC. in accordance with City specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6729 of said Grinnell Company, Inc. at a
total contract price of $15,512.60, such bid being the lowest and said Grinnell Company, Inc.
being the lowest reliable and rea onable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby
is directed to draw up the proper fora of contract therefor and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute aid contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
